As Funding Gaps Persist, Philadelphia Charter School Organization Launches New Advocacy Platform

PCE launches a refreshed, modern, action-oriented platform, designed to increase public engagement, and strengthen its online public education advocacy across Philadelphia.

Philadelphia, PA (Feb 10th) — Philadelphia Charters for Excellence (PCE) today announced the launch of its newly redesigned website, a modern, action-oriented platform built to strengthen transparency, improve access to information, and expand engagement with families, educators, and community advocates across Philadelphia and Pennsylvania.

The launch comes at a critical moment as public charter schools across the Commonwealth continue to advocate for equitable access to education funding, including facilities support and state grant programs, amid ongoing state and local budget debates.

The platform was created by Solidarity Tech, a technology company specializing in digital infrastructure for mission-driven organizations. In addition to enhanced website performance and security, Solidarity Tech provides integrated organizing tools that support real-world engagement, including a field app to coordinate outreach efforts, phone banking capabilities to connect directly with families and stakeholders, and text messaging tools that allow for timely, responsive communication at scale.

The new website reflects PCE’s commitment to clarity, accountability, and movement-building. With streamlined navigation and updated content, the platform makes it easier for users to understand PCE’s mission, explore policy priorities, access advocacy tools, and stay connected to the organization’s work advancing equitable public education. PCE represents public charter schools educating nearly 40 percent of Philadelphia’s public school students.

“This new website reflects our commitment to clarity, accountability, and meaningful engagement with families and communities,“ said Dr. Cassandra St. Vil, Chief Executive Officer, PCE. “The redesign creates clearer, more accessible pathways to share information, demonstrate impact, and support informed participation in public education. In this mission to ensure resource equity across Philadelphia’s public schools, the platform allows us to continue to lead the way to ensure communities are better equipped to advocate for quality educational outcomes.”

PCE Board Chair Dr. William Hayes noted that the new website represents a strategic investment in the organization’s future.“This website launch represents a meaningful step forward for PCE as an organization committed to transparency, sound governance, and public accountability. The new platform strengthens how we communicate our mission, measure impact, and serve as a trusted voice supporting quality and excellence within the public charter sector.”

With its new digital home, PCE is better positioned to support families, amplify community voices, and coordinate advocacy efforts that advance quality and accountability across the public education system.
