Philadelphia Charters for Excellence (PCE) serves as the central advocacy organization for Philadelphia’s public brick-and-mortar charter school sector.

Founded in 2011, PCE connects, convenes, and catalyzes collective action on behalf of charter schools and the families they serve. Our work focuses on advancing strong accountability, informed public policy, and collaboration across the public education ecosystem.

We bring together school leaders, partners, and stakeholders to elevate accurate information, engage policymakers, and strengthen conditions for public charter schools to operate with transparency and impact. PCE exists to ensure that advocacy for public charter schools is coordinated, responsible, and grounded in student outcomes, reinforcing public trust in public education.
